Genius Loci Weimar is seeking innovative ideas for the Facade Projection Festival on September 15th to 17th, 2023.
Applicants must submit a 30-second video clip outlining their design concept by June 30th, 23:59

This years festival is focusing on video mapping performance art and AI-based art.

The main requirements for the competition include addressing AI-based art, creating an innovative audiovisual video mapping design, respecting the Genius Loci (the spirit of the location), and demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of the location's history and architecture.

The winning production will be showcased as a video mapping on the facade of the Bauhaus Museum.

Prizes Details:

The three winning artists will receive a total of €15,000 to create a 5-10 minute high-resolution audiovisual production.

The on-site winner will receive an additional €5,000.
