Statement :

Venus takes inspiration from landscapes that she has seen and experienced. She believes that humans have different perceptions of the beauty of nature. From her perspective, from the micro and macro elements of a scenery; tiny details to the atmosphere. Venus is enthusiastic about natural forms and shapes found in nature: from the skies to the oceans and the ground. Her outcome is depicted abstractly, with a sense of purity, simplicity, and spirituality.

Floating forms
found single-use plastics, knit, 80 x 80 x 200 cm, 2024
A magnolia tree near my home inspired this piece. The flowers had once blossomed vitally, and then the petals fell. They were being stepped, and nobody remembers how beautiful they once were. This installation is to capture the few-second moment of different forms of falling petals.
