BOOK OPPORTUNITY FOR ARTISTS

We are looking for 40 artists to be included in a book to be published by the end of March 2019.

The book is entitled ‘Quotes’. It is based on the idea that many of us have been inspired by the words of a famous artist (past or present) and that those words have resonated with us and maybe even inspired our own work.

So, we are asking you to supply a quotation that resonates with you. Your quotation needs to be genuine and short - two or three lines only. Please name the source.

You must then explain how or why your chosen quotation resonates with you and say briefly (150 - 200 words) how it has inspired your work. 

Finally, you must choose an example of your own work that best illustrates your text.

Art takes Manhattan Award 2019

Open Call for artists of all disciplines: Adjacent to the world famous High Line walking park and a block from Gagosian Gallery, our New York Landmark site is an unavoidable meeting point for Armory Arts Week. Apply now and be recognized by our curatorial board with our award winner certificate and granted participation in both our onsite and online shows. Artists must submit a maximum of three original artworks of any medium or size through our online application form and will be judged by their aesthetics, originality and creative vision. Call for Artists - Wotisart #23 (February)

Wotisart is a portfolio magazine. Our goal is to allow unknown artists an avenue to show their work and gain some recognition in the industry and also to answer the question... What is art? We are now taking entries for the February issue of Wotisart?

You still have time to apply to the 13th Arte Laguna Prize! The deadline has been POSTPONED TO DECEMBER 19th, 2018 for all the ten categories.

Arte Laguna Prize is the international contemporary art competition that counts every year thousands of submissions from artists from all over the world. In addition to the cash prizes for the winners of the different sections, the stakes for the finalists are high: the selected works will be exhibited in March in the evocative spaces of the Arsenale of Venice.
